Not sure what is going on here, but Apache.exe seems to stop
processing HTTP requests on typical high load days (mondays to thursdays) on our production websites. We found that when this happens, the clients see that there are missing JPGs and gifs, and we can see the same thing if we directly hit the web server. Then, if we go onto the server directly and try to load up the http://localhost we would typically see the Apache splash page, but it does not come up. We turn on task manager, and look for any processes that maybe running but did not find anything. We restarted Apache service, and that still did not resolve the issue. We have to end up rebooting the server all together just to get it up and running. We are running Windows 2003 RC 2 with Apache 2.0.59 in Windows. Any ideas? Thanks Wilson |
