Default apache 2.0 web site access from the internet.

I've loaded Apache 2.0 on my xp/sp2 machine and created a very basic
web site to test with. The web site works across my network when I
type the ip address of the host computer. I am using qwest dsl with a
dynamic ip, and am using a belkin router. How do I access my website
from work where I'm not directly connected to the network at home?
Email me directly at hamelinenterprises@hotmail.com.

thanks,

Ken

Use a dynamic ip address service like no-ip.com and setup port
fowarding on your router. Sorry, you have to read it here.

Ken,

As I noted in a private e-mail to you, I'd like to know your experiences
in getting your Apache 2.0.nn server to work on Qwest /DSL. I, *too*, am
looking at getting DSL installed at my home (in the Phoenix area), and
starting up an Apache Server.

I have been 'running around the edges' barking like a frightened dog for
the past year :)))

I'd like to start something productive in the next few months.

(I've also noted Si Ballenger's reference to no-ip.com in the next post.
Seems very interesting !)
