Default DNS server name

Hey guys I am new to apache server. I am installing apache server
on my computer. I wanted know that do I need to know the the DNS name
in oredr begin with the installation or is there any other way around.

The server should run on the speacial local host address shown here.
http://127.0.0.1

If your system supports a hosts file you can edit it and give yourself
a handier name to type than "127.0.0.1"
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\etc\hosts
