Configuring Apache for secure WAN use on Windows machine

Hello,

I have installed Apache onto my windows machine but do not know how to
configure the "httpd.conf" file so that my version is secure enough to
use over the internet on a long term basis. Does anyone know of any
good tutorials or pointers I should think about?
