first it there any place that tells you what to do next after setting up a
server? I can do this and it works find: http://localhost/manual/index.html gives me the manual for Apache but when I do something like this: http://localhost/manual/dgw.html it gives this error [Fri Mar 18 08:28:06 2005] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Syntax error in type map, no ':' in C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/manual/dgw.html for header <!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en">\r\n I want to set this up so I can build a web page off the internet and test it, so what do I need to do to do this. I'm really really new at this so explan as if I didn't know anything about it. Except I did get the server up and running I just don't know what to do with it now that it is going. |
