IIS 6 stopped logging

Running Win2k3 Server Last night after installing Awstats, I reset the
folder for log storage from Windows/system32/logfiles to a subfolder in
wwwroot. The appropriate box in server properties is still checked, but
logging seems to have stopped. Even my own footsteps through the site are
no longer showing up in the log, in either the old or the new location.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
