Alright here's the story:
I used to use Windows 2000 with Apache 2 as my server, but then the fan kicked out so I moved it all over to a Windows XP machine (which is much faster btw) and whatnot. So I reinstalled Apache, PHP, mySQL, blah blah blah and everything appeared to work, so I went on with my business. Well, after a while I started noticing that pictures were incomplete all over the place. You would see like half the picture, and the rest was gray...which was strange. So I started investigating, and finally came to the conclusion that something was wrong with my server. Any type of file I tried to download that was over like 70 kilobytes would be incomplete...it would stop at about 70 k or so. I have no idea why this is going on. I ran IIS 5 just to see if it really was Apache, and found that I can view files over that server perfectly. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be happening here? This problem is REALLY starting to annoy me. |

I have no idea why this is going on. I've heard of this problem. I don't remember what the solution is, but I seem to recall that it may have been due to Zone Alarm. Do you use that firewall? You will find other people reporting similar problems if you search groups.google.com . |
