Installation of Apache on Win ME (error 1157, canot load php4apache.dll)

Dear All,

I am new to the Apache/PHP community and try to run php4 as an Apache
module on my old Win ME Notebook (as for the start).
Having made all th enecessary installation step, i cannot get Apache to
start. I receive the following error message:

"Syntax Error on line ... of c:/programme/apache
group/apache/conf/httpd.conf: cannot load c:/windows/system/php4apache.dll
into server: (1157) ...

The corresponding lines in the httpd.conf read:

LoadModule php4_module c:/windows/system/php4apache.dll

If have tried several other LoadModule options trying to access the dll at
other directories, but to no avail.


Does anyone have a clue how to tackle the problem? I recon it must have
something to do with the operating system (Win ME, Version 4.90.3000) on a
Pentium III processor???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
