Mail Server add-on for Apache 2.5 for Windows 2000

New to Apache - is there a mail server program/add-on that will work
well with Apache - and that is easy enough for a noob to set up?

Does anyone ever really respond to these requests for assistance?

Not very often. Not only that, but few who ask questions here ever
acknowledge the answers or thank those who take the time to do so.
Consequently, I don't usually bother to contribute anything here any
more.

I don't know the answer to your question, sorry.

To my knowledg there isn't a mailserver addon freely available.
Use a deferent packes like Kerio(not free) which is very good.
Or James(free) which is also from the Apache Group.

A few months back I was looking for a free mail server to use. I
eventually settled with James, because the Apache Group wrote it. I
found the documentation and configuration confusing, and the interface
for manipulating user accounts disgusting. But I settled, because I
couldn't find anything that was nearly as resource-friendly as James.

That is, until today, when Bill introduced me to Mercury, linked above.
Thank you so much for this link. I am already impressed with this
program.
