Default Apache 2.048 + winxpro = partial page output : Please help

Hi all -

Basically I have Apache 2.048 on winxp pro (no sp). I'm using
colfusion mx 61 to return dynamic content. Same hardware and setup
works just fine with IIS but for some reason apache 2.048 return
partial page output randomly (maybe 1 in 4 requests). Also returns
weird character sequences out of nowhere (maybe 1 in 10).

Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround? Does it look familiar?
Please help as I do not wish to return to IIS!

Cheers,

OC

Please pretty please with sugar on top? Any pointer at all would be
really great. I searched google for hours in vain.

Do you use Zone Alarm? I've heard of similar problems attributed to
that firewall product.

There are later versions of Apache available - maybe there's a bug
that's been fixed since your version.
