When I read the documentation this all sounded so easy!
I insalled Apache2 on a win 2000 server, which was running visnetic webserver 3. I have 3 domains I wish to have on the system each serving it's own content. All are being routed via DynDNS.org to my 1 home IP address which then enters a router, and all worked fine on visnetic... (for those wanting to know why change when it works... PHP5 is not working correctly under visnetic and I can find no documentation to fix it) I installed apache and set up domain 1 in that process. I then tested and it works. I now move on to VirtualHosts I can get all listed there but all point to the same initial DocumentRoot and not thier own! I can even get them all to point to another root, but can not seem to split them no matter what I try. I read somewhere I had to add the original domain to virtual, but when I do that Apache refuses to restart. Can anyone help please? |
