upload webpages

Hi all,

Which folder do I upload my webpages to, so that whenever I key in the
site eg. www.mysite.com my index page will load up.

Do i have to edit the httpd file?

Thus where do I place my images folder and what path should I put?
eg. background="/menu/background_header_left.gif"
am I right to put my menu folder with my static webpages?
is my path correct?

Look in your configuration file to see which directory is your web root.
