Default php 5 and apache 2

ok ive had my apache2 server going for some time now and its all good even
if i dont know the commands completely :) but i would now like to implement
php and i have read the documentation that comes with php4 explaining how to
install for php4 and apache1. I did read somewhere about php4 and apache2
but i didnt comprehend very well.
Is there anyone out there who has the same/similar setup as i wish to have??
