I got all the way through loading Visual Studios 2003 when I found out that
I needed to have my server on. I run an XP Pro and now realize that it is "by default" not installed. When I select "start" from its submenu, I get "The service did not respond to the start or control reequest in a timely fasion." Any help on this? Thank you, Monty |

Hello, If I have correctly understood your question, you haven't already install your IIS server... To have your server running you have to follow these steps: - Click Start - Go in the Control Panel - Select Add/remove programs - Then select Add/remove Windows components - In the Windows component wizard, scroll to the Internet Service (IIS) item, make sure that this item is selected and then click the Next button Normally you will have your server running. Hope this help! Alain |
