Several people seem to have a problem with 2.0.47 on WinME.
My problem is that there are no listening sockets available (on 0.0.0.0:8080). I have clicked on apache.exe, I have run it from 'Run' and from a DOS window. Always the same. What's up with my sockets, please? Is Norton anything to do with it? Or playing around with networking (now it is a standalone laptop - no networking needed)? Thanks Jon |

I have not much expierience about that, but maybe you can fix your problem if you make shure that windows network is installed. It doesnīt matter if you have a network or not. Itīs just to make shure that windows define an IP for your Computer to let apache listen on that. Example : Your windows system don`t create an IP like 127.0.0.1 or localhost, if you don`t have network installed. Installing network is possible on you system-manager/setup/add another component. Maybe it helps bye oliver from Germany |
