I just installed Windows 2003 Server Enterprise edition successfully last
night on my HP Pavilion 6746C. Everything seemed to work just fine. Also, I had to press F7 to disable the ACPI during the installation because of BIOS incompatibility. Then, for nutty reasons, I installed Nusphere server on the machine. I just wanted to see if it would also work on it. It worked fine on a different port - 8080. Then, after shutting down the Nusphere (Apache) server, I tried to turn off the machine. Everytime I clicked on shutdown in the start menu, the OK button for shutting down was grayed out. I powered it off manually, then rebooted. I then uninstalled all of the Nusphere stuff. The shutdown button is still grayed out. I've tried it several times now. How can I get it back ? Thanks for any and all help! J.C.Deen http://www.WayCoolGear.com |
