I am trying to install Apache 2.0.46 on Windows XP. I downloaded the
file: apache_2.0.46-win32-x86-no-src.msi from the apache site. I go through the windows installer steps to the point of the install and it gives me this error: Internal Error 2235., Wait, SELECT 'Name','Wait', 'Arguments','Event','Action' FROM 'ServiceControl', 'Component' WHERE 'Component_'='Component' AND ('Action'= 0 OR 'Action'= 1 OR 'Action'= 2) Now in the server information it brings up my ISP's information as the default. Now I only want to use this to to test scripts for websites I am creating from my home PC. I read in some other strings that people have just used 'localhost' as their network domain and server domain. If this is possible for what I want, please let me know. Any help that anyone could give me on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Rob |
