Getting started ...

I'm looking for some "getting started" docs, but I cant seem to find any
good ones ...

What exactly are you looking for?
Getting started installing/compiling apache?
Or setting up a config file...

I would suggest that you install it as a localhost then play with it
to learn more (a "hands-on" approach).
