Default Asking experts to help

From my observations, there are many experts watching this newsgroup.

menawhile, there are a few beginners in the Apache server or they may
not have a strong technical background. Junt like myself. I ask some
very basic questions but was ignored. I think in order to make a website
or a newsgroup to be meaningful, exchange of opinion or knowledge is
essential. The support from those experts are essential. Otherwise, the
existence of the website is meaningless. Although the experts are not
getting paid , their enthusiasm for helping the other people would be
highly apppreciated.

I hope those well educated with strong technical bankground can donote
their generosity to help the other and forgive my innocence. My objective
is to learn and I myself would reciprocate in some other areas.

Let's help each other and understand there is no stupid question.

Regards

Few possabilities here ...

1. No one understood the question
2. No one knew the answer
3. It never showed on their news server (happens to me all the time,
why I am using google)
4. You didn't give enough info and no one bothered to ask for it.

I do notice that a few of the old folk who used to be here (a couple
from Apache Group) are not around anymore.

I was using google the other other day as my ISP news server stopped
getting a feed or peer and I could post the artical from google and it
showed up within 3 minutes on the news server which I could seen by
using a readonly server from
http://freenews.maxbaud.net/newspage.html?posting=0

However before it is logged at google it takes along time or so and
google also dose get some of the articals that do not show on news
servers or get lost as the other poster mentioned

As for people helping I will almost always help people no matter how
silly the question is as long as it is not stupid like tring to
reprogram the hole server for no apparent reason or mapping disk drives
across firewalled LANs (I hope you did not ask this question as I simply
have no idea why you should do this)

I would also like to say WELCOME BACK "TOG" as he went missing for a
few weeks from my understanding and is an invaluable resource to this
group and Apache Config and has helped thousands of people on this group.

Do not hesitate to ask your question no matter what it is,
