Hi
I am trying to build a remote based application based on WINDOWS SERVER . Trying to GOOGLE about this confused me more then before . My questions are : What connects the remote user to the server based application ? For example if the application and the remote user reside in 2 remote towns, what connects the server and the remote terminal ? What operating system should be used on the remote terminal ? Thanks in advance EC |

I think you're still confused. This newsgroup titled "comp.infosystems.www.servers.ms-windows" is about WWW servers - in other words, Windows web (http) servers. NOT about Windows servers in general. I think your questions are far to vague and general to elicit useful answers. I recommend you put some more thought into them and perhaps do more research on network connectivity and protocols. Describing your application would be a first step. |
