Squid OS X authentication

I have a squid server running on Linux, with MAC OS X clients that log
onto an Active Directory domain. The squid server is setup to
authenticate users to the AD domain. I need to know if there is a way
to enable pass-through authentication for Safari and FireFox browsers
on the OS X workstations.
