Default Using push cache

Hello all,
I've downloaded the modified squid that pushcache.com developed to
allow you to PUT an object inside a squid cache. I've noticed,
however, that squid seems to always generate TCP_MISS in the
access.log file unless I manually put the file there. If I keep
browsing to websites that have cacheable objects, those objects are
never cached. I'm using the same config file for a standard squid
version and it does generate HITs.
Does anybody know how this product is supposed to work, is this the
default behaviour or a bug.

Thanks a lot for your time.

Al
