cant get BASIC auth to work with NTLM auth

Hi all,
I have squid 2.5 stable-5 and samba 3.0

I have samba setup to use ADS and it works fine.
I have squid setup to use SAMBA 3's ntlm_auth
If I place the NTLM auth config lines before the basic lines in the
squid.conf I only get NTLM Authentication. This is fine for M$IE
Browsers but netscape fails. If I place the Basic config first I only
get Basic Authentication.
I cannot get NTLM to work for IE and BASIC to work for Netscape at the
same time.
Any ideas why?
