I have not found many valid reasons why to enable this..

It is only of interest if you run Squid in a comples cache mesh.

If you only run a single Squid or very simple peering arrangements then
there is no need for this option.

Like all other configure options, this is an option you know you need when
you need it, if not it should be left alone.
