Default Proxy auto detection.

Hi All,

If I run up Microsoft ISA Server or Proxy server 2, I can set the browser on
a client machine to 'auto detect settings' - i.e., the client sends out a
broadcast of some sort to find a proxy to connect to. Netscape and Internet
Explorer both make use of this feature....

Is Squid able to perform the same function? i.e. respond to client requests
and announce the IP details of itself, so as to allow clients to auto
configure themselves.......

Best Regards

Phil Blythe
