[Snort-users] test -z caused /usr/local/bin: Permission denied

Hi,

When I tried to make install snort-2.3.0RC2 in FreeBSD 5.3, I got
Permission denied for the directory /usr/local/bin

test -z "/usr/local/bin" || "/usr/local/bin"
/usr/local/bin: Permission denied
*** Error code 126

Stop in /usr/local/snort-2.3.0RC2/src.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/local/snort-2.3.0RC2/src.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/local/snort-2.3.0RC2/src.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/local/snort-2.3.0RC2.
root@at [11:14pm] [...local/snort-2.3.0RC2]# test -z "/usr/local/bin" ||
"/usr/local/bin"
/usr/local/bin: Permission denied.
root@at [11:14pm] [...local/snort-2.3.0RC2]#

How can I fix this error?
