I'm not on unix, but WinXP, but I'm hoping the problem I'm having is
platform unspecific. I installed Snort 2.2.0 for Win32 and it's running perfectly well. I created the mySQL database and it's collecting data just fine. PHP5 in Apache is just fine, I can browse PHP files and they display just fine. I'm using PHPlot 5.0 and jgraph 1.17 and adodb453. I have no idea if they're working, but I followed the directions in "Snort for Dunnies" on installing them in a Windows environment exactly. I WAS getting from ACID the error that my PHP5 was too old, but I followed the instructions found in this group to change acid_db_common to accept PHP5, and that's when it went from showing me the ACID header and error, to a completely blank page. The only thing the source shows is: <html><body></body></html> Of course I edited acid_conf.php with the proper paths and login settings. I have no idea what elese to check! Any ideas where I can look for where the root of the problem is? Thanks for any help! Liam |
