[Snort-users] Database not suported after compillation, pls HELP

I have compiled snort
>./configure --with-mysql
script says :
cheking for mysql... yes
all is done
but:
when running:
>/usr/local/bin/snort -c /etc/snort.conf
/* /etc/snort.conf definitly exists */
says:
database: compiled support for ( )
database: configured to use mysql
database: mysql support is not compiled in this copy

[some other info, howto configure]

Fatal Error, Quitting..


already tried >./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql and
other directories where mysql could be but every time sad:
cheking for mysql... no
Patrick Harper told me to try these directories.

any idea, what's the problem ?
