[Snort-users] local.rules problem

when trying to start snort with this command:
snort -c /etc/snort/snort.config -h 192.168.10.153/24 -A fast
an error occured with this text
ERROR: unable to open rules file : ../rules/local.rules or /etc/snort/../rules/local.rules

in the file snort.conf I decomment
#include $RULE_PATH/local.rules

the same error occured with bad-traffic.rules
...........

please try to help me
