--tThc/1wpZn/ma/RB Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi Chris! chris <cfeldmann@nyc.rr.com> wrote on Sun, Jan 25, 2004 at 04:11:11AM -0500: =A1 Hi, =A1 Upgrading from 2.0.6 to 2.1.0, when I compile the source: =A1 [root@aztec snort-2.1.0]# ./configure --with-mysql=3D/usr/local/mysql Often, when I have this problem, I find that although I specify --with-mysql when running ./configure , it actually didn't find all the libraries required, but didn't throw an error.=20 However, it doesn't actually build with mysql support. Watch when your make is going on, you should see -DENABLE_MYSQL on almost every line. When I've had this problem in the past (and I had it on a 2.1 migration) it's been because the first mysql libs were found but later ones were not. I think I got what I needed from Redhat's mysql-devel-3.23.58-1.80=20 rpm. I could be totally off base, however. -Matt -- Matthew Southworth B621 BA09 2169 953A 44F0 B0EB 12C2 656D 0DE0 CEEC --tThc/1wpZn/ma/RB Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (OpenBSD) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQFAFsFqEsJlbQ3gzuwRAjF3AJwM5sbfJQnFhOaq4IDIKC 9Gk6YMhQCgpoC9 upJ9M0GdJ497g4k+im2NedY= =1ket -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --tThc/1wpZn/ma/RB-- ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
