your make is going on, you should see -DENABLE_MYSQL on almost

on a 2.1 migration) it's been because the first mysql libs were
found but later ones were not.

I think I got what I needed from Redhat's mysql-devel-3.23.58-1.80=20
rpm.

I could be totally off base, however.
