Default RE: [Snort-users] Snort 2.1 Problems with unicode.map

This is new file used by the rule set.. just like the other .map files found
with your rules. Just download the snortrules-current.tar.gz from the site
instead of the snortrules-stable.tar.gz. Also in the "current" tar you will
find the threshold.conf file which you will need. And beware the format of
some processor commands have changed with the new snort version.. like the
http-decoder.

Good Luck,
Chris

Subject: [Snort-users] Snort 2.1 Problems with unicode.map

I have the same problem as noted below with line 285 (redhat 9 and the
unicode.map issue) Should this file be standard on a Redhat install? I
can't seem to find the file anywhere on my install. Thanks
