ah... that is bizarre...

wonder how that can affect it?

(or, maybe upgrading didn't change anything, just restarting snort did)?

If snort:
A) logs to mysql

and

B) logs to /var/log/snort.log

why would an old version of mysql affect what was logged to =
/var/log/snort.log?

(as in my case)

hey, anything is possible.

since I can't reproduce it reliably, no way of knowing.
