Hey all,
I'm trying to compile net-snmp on x86 - one caveat being that I'm compiling from a different machine than it'll run on. After some minor haggling with the configure script and a whole lot of time reading old posts to this list and random webpages (and applying the results) it now compiles and 'installs', and when copied over, things run. snmpd crashes, though, citing a shared object file, so I tried compiling that out - without listing the whole thing, --without-rpm was in there - but librpm-4.4.so seems to still be required for some reason: # snmpd -f snmpd: error while loading shared libraries: librpm-4.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Does the --without-rpm option not work?
