Net-SNMP error

I Have installed Net-SNMP on Ubuntu 7.10. When i restart the snmp, there is
an error like this :
"Restarting network management services:/usr/sbin/snmpd: symbol lookup
error: /usr/sbin/snmpd: undefined symbol: smux_listen_sd"


I have checked in /usr/sbin/snmpd, but i don't understand about the script.
Anyone can help?
