Problem after installing Net-SNMP

I have installed Net SNMP on Ubuntu 7.10. But, it doesn't works. It's not
detected in my Network Management System. Whwn I starting Ubuntu, there is
notification like this :
Starting Network Management Services:/usr/sbin/snmpd:symbol look up
error:/usr/sbin/snmpd:undefine symbol : smux_listen_sd

What is the problems?
Any one can help?
