Default RE: overwrite standard mib2/interfaces

Hi,

Is it possible to give read access to all registered mibs (both with default context and other context) to a group/user? If yes, how can it be done? We have used the default context to give access to all standard mibs to v1 and v2c groups, but since we needed to modify the ifTable, RMON, and bridge mibs to provide right data and have registered all these mibs with our own context "My_context" then it is not possible to give read access to these mibs when we are using v1 or v2c client.

Is it any way to give read access to mibs with different context to a client which is running v1/v2c snmp?

Some background info:
We want to overwrite some standard mibs like iftable, RMON and bridge with our own interfaces and statistics, which is not included in standard mibs. when we discussed this for some time ago, you told me that there isn't any API to do this right now, but these APIs will be added to the next release of net-snmp, do you know in which release and when those will be included? Because of this problem we decided to use context and add them with different context, but then we are facing the above problem that we can not give read access to all standard mibs plus our own added mibs.

Hope I could describe the problem.

Regards,

/Masoud
