Hi guys

snmpd doesn't work..............Timeout:No Response from 127.0.0.1

if i try:

simone@simone-laptop:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/snmpd restart
[sudo] password for simone:
Restarting network management services:.

the result is the same:

simone@simone-laptop:~$ snmpget -v1 -cpublic 127.0.0.1 sysDescr.0
Timeout: No Response from 127.0.0.1.

any ideas?
