Remember that the role of the MIB file is simply to
describe the syntax and semantics of particular MIB
objects. The SNMP server does not actually use
this file at all.

The information supplied by the SNMP agent is
typically provided via dedicated code modules, each
implementing a particular sub-section of the overall MIB tree
(built up from both vendor-supplied and standard MIB files).

The MIB file for any given code module is effectively
used as a design document for writing the code. Once
the module has been implemented, the agent doesn't
need the MIB file any more.

So yes - all the numeric OIDs received by the agent
will be interpreted internally - regardless of whether the
relevant MIB file(s) are installed or not.
