Hi, I'd like to know, if I can read mib v1 with the request version
v2c or even v3. For example I'm able to read ifInOctets.1 like this snmpget -v1 -c community 192.168.0.1 ifInOctets.1 the same as with snmpget -v2c -c community 192.168.0.1 ifInOctets.1 so I'm able to read this with both the snmp v1 and v2c (it's for example a cisco router supporting snmp v2c) Is it rule due to the compatibility or is it only luck? I was not able found anything pointing me out of this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
