Default RE: Snmptrapd 5.4.1 seems to ignore the -t flag

Hi Mike

Yeah i have checked that, and no, there is really only 1 daemon
running..

Below here you can see one of the entries in syslog-ng, and notice the
process id 11907:

------------
Dec 22 17:46:21 sparta snmptrapd[11907]: 2007-12-22 17:46:21 <UNKNOWN>
[UDP: [192.168.68.21]:161]: sysUpTimeInstance 88:18:23:43.47
snmpTrapOID.0 axd301LinkUp ifIndex.695 695
trapSequenceNumbers.0.0.0.0 0 ifName.695 o011602040 ifDescr.695
"Ericsson A
XD 301 - 7.1 (AXD 301 01/1 R11A) ET2x155-S1.1 CE CT" ifType.695 ds1
eventIndex.127 127 eventSender.0 ifIndex.695 eve
ntTime.0 "07 D7 0C 16 11 2E 15 00 2B 01 00 " snmpTrapEnterprise.0
axd301Release1
------------

And here is a print from ps ax, and again notice the process id and the
-t:

------------
11907 ? Ss 0:17 /usr/local/sbin/snmptrapd -t -m ALL -n -Ls 7
-p /usr/local/sbin/snmptrapd.pid
------------

So for me it still looks like the -t is ignored

Are you sure there isn't and snmptrapd already running on your
system? If so, your instance will not be getting the traps for your
host, and its configuration will not matter.

HTH,
