It returns IP-MIB::ipForwarding.0 = INTEGER: notForwarding(2) and snmpget -v 1 -c public localhost ipForwarding.0 also works (but not the object ipForwarding. I also walked further to get some other objects such as ipDefaultTTL.0, ipInReceives.0...
