Diffie Hellman Key Agreement in 5.2.4 and 5.4.1

I'm planning on doing some playing with Diffie Hellman Key Agreement and
net-snmp.

Is 5.2.4 is a good choice for this?
Does 5.4.1 have any benefits, improvements or bug fixes for DHKA?
