The point I was making was that SMART
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-Mo...nd_Reporting_T
echnology) reports a LOT of information.

The question was how you were going to interpret that to fit within the
parameters of

unknown(1),
running(2),
warning(3),
testing(4),
down(5)

without rewriting the MIB.
