From the README it says I only have to #define INET6 to 1 and uncomment the 4 things in libsnmp.def relating to IPv6. After doing so, and attempting to recompile I receive the following unresolved externals: error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol netsnmp_TCPIPv6Domain installdir\win32\libsnmp_dll\libsnmp.def 1 =20 error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol netsnmp_UDPIPv6Domain installdir\win32\libsnmp_dll\libsnmp.def 1 =20 error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol netsnmp_udp6_getSecName installdir\win32\libsnmp_dll\libsnmp.def 1 =20 error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol netsnmp_udp6_parse_security installdir\win32\libsnmp_dll\libsnmp.def 1 =20 fatal error LNK1120: 4 unresolved externals ..\../lib/release/netsnmp.lib=20 Is there something else I need to include in the Linking options under Additional Dependencies?=20 This is while building the DLL using libsdll.sln.=20 ------_=_NextPart_001_01C79D8D.8972B5C2 Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Rebuilding Net-SNMP 5.4 with IPv6</TITLE> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Dus-ascii"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2900.3086" name=3DGENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY> <DIV dir=3Dltr align=3Dleft><SPAN class=3D069395322-23052007><FONT = face=3DArial=20 color=3D#0000ff size=3D2>Has anyone successfully built with IPv6 using = the=20 following?</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV dir=3Dltr align=3Dleft><SPAN class=3D069395322-23052007><FONT = face=3DArial=20 color=3D#0000ff size=3D2>#define INET6 1</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV dir=3Dltr align=3Dleft><SPAN class=3D069395322-23052007><FONT = face=3DArial=20 color=3D#0000ff size=3D2></FONT></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV dir=3Dltr align=3Dleft><SPAN class=3D069395322-23052007><FONT = face=3DArial=20 color=3D#0000ff size=3D2>I need to know where these unresolved externals = are=20 located, and what I need to link with.</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV dir=3Dltr align=3Dleft><SPAN class=3D069395322-23052007><FONT = face=3DArial=20 color=3D#0000ff size=3D2></FONT></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV dir=3Dltr align=3Dleft><SPAN class=3D069395322-23052007><FONT = face=3DArial=20 color=3D#0000ff size=3D2>Thanks.</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV dir=3Dltr align=3Dleft><FONT face=3DArial color=3D#0000ff=20 size=3D2></FONT> </DIV><BR> <DIV class=3DOutlookMessageHeader lang=3Den-us dir=3Dltr align=3Dleft> <HR tabIndex=3D-1> <FONT face=3DTahoma size=3D2><B>From:</B>=20 net-snmp-users-bounces@lists.sourceforge.net=20 [mailto:net-snmp-users-bounces@lists.sourceforge.net] <B>On Behalf Of=20 </B>Kleffman, Justin (Mission Systems)<BR><B>Sent:</B> Tuesday, May 22, = 2007=20 12:25 PM<BR><B>To:</B> = net-snmp-users@lists.sourceforge.net<BR><B>Subject:</B>=20 Rebuilding Net-SNMP 5.4 with IPv6<BR></FONT><BR></DIV> <DIV></DIV><!-- Converted from text/rtf format --> <P><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Hi,</FONT> </P> <P><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>I have successfully built Net-SNMP 5.4 = with OpenSSL=20 support (in MS Visual Studio 2005, Win XP) and now need to rebuild with = IPv6=20 support included.
