Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="0-1302370530-1176170795=:59797" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit --0-1302370530-1176170795=:59797 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Hi, I am having a strange behavior with snmptranslate. I added some objects to my MIB file(It was working before) and ran snmptranslate to verified their OID.snmptranslate gave me errors about that specific MIB.I fixed that errors but I coudn't get snmptranslate working anymore with that specific MIB . If I run the following command: snmptranslate -v 2c -c TC localhost REZA-MIB::myObject REZA-MIB:myObject: Unknown Object Identifier if I change the first line in REZA-MIB.txt from REZA-MIB DEFINITIONS ::BEGIN to whatever name like : REZA-MIB1 DEFINITIONS::BEGIN then : snmptranslate -v 2c -c TC localhost REZA-MIB1::myObject ... works. It seems snmptranslate doesn't like the name. I have to change the MIB name. For making sure I did reset the computer, turned snmpd off ,.....but it didn't work. Please help.
