Unfortunately I don't know anything about AIX internals... And this is =
too
far out of the scope of what I am trying to accomplish. I was trying to=

install the net-snmp perl module as it is a requirement for another per=
l
software (snmp-info). I don't need to get the net-snmp agent to run on =
my
systems as the one provided for AIX works fine for what I need. I guess=

that's the reason net-snmp was never made compatible with AIX.
