Default receiving authentication failures through agentx

Hello,

We have proprietary MIBS in place which use AgentX to register
themselves with the snmpd running on the same box.

We would like to receive notifications when an authentication failure
occurs, but it doesn't look like this is possible without making
modifications to the source. I have scoured the code and the
documentation to no avail. I don't see any callbacks that we can
register for, and it doesn't look like the username and transport info
(IP address where the SET originated) are preserved across the AgentX
socket, either. Does this sound right?

Ideally, we would like to use pam, but it doesn't look like it is
implemented at this time.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Alex
