Hi,

I am querying a variable (OID) which has type/syntax as SnmpAdminString.

My agent, for some reason, returning binary values, whereas it should have
been a displayable-string.

When I query the variable I get output with junk character like
'O=05oN=0B.=CD?-tP=EF=BF=BDl.Ya=0CM=EF=BF=BD'.

Can any one please tell me is there way to instruct NetSNMP to format
non-displayable characters as Hex-STRING?

I tried configuring following in snmp.conf - but no luck.
printHexText 1
noDisplayHint 1

thanks
chinmaya
