Hi Manik,

If you are linux user, then please go and check the following file :

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
DEVICE=eth0
ONBOOT=yes
BOOTPROTO=dhcp (This specifies whether the IP address is DHCP or a
static IP address)

My machine is configured for dynamic ip addressing schemes, so the
BOOTPROTO shows 'dhcp'
