I am looking for a way to do cause all SNMP traps generated by my device =
(running net-SNMP) to use a specific IP address as the trap source in =
the trap message.=20
=20
This can be done on a Cisco IOS device using the command SNMP-server =
trap-source hostname.
=20
I need to do this because my device has many interfaces defined and if I =
don't do it, it will be difficult to tell what device is sending the =
trap.
=20
Thanks in Advance
Mark
